I went to the state fair for the elephant ears, funnel cakes, deep-fried pickle on-a-stick, chocolate covered bacon on-a-stick, and chocolate drizzled cream puffs. I brought along Tums.
Yes – chocolate covered bacon ! It’s more chocolat-y than bacon-y and not bad. Maybe like salt & vinegar potato chips.

I’ve heard of deep-fried macaroni and cheese, and have actually tried it, too.
I shouldn’t admit this, but it’s really good.

Mike and Janna – Stop back – I found a YouTube video of the chocolate covered bacon – mine was on a skewer, it’s cold, and it’s pretty good!
I’d of never believed if I hadn’t seen it with my own two eyes. My first reaction was, “Gross!” Then I thought, “Hey, I love bacon and I love chocolate, and they probably taste pretty good together.” I might even open a chain of ChocoBaco shops.

I am with everyone else. Chocolate covered bacon on a stick? I am not sure about trying that. I am not a big chocolate fan and I want nothing getting in the way of my bacon. I wonder if bacon flavored coke is any good?
Ok, I admit the video is intriguing.
I might have to give that stuff a try if I ever see it.
At the very least, it’ll give me something to blog about.
