Well, between sarcasm and torture, the judges whittled down the contestants from 54 to The Top 36.

I think voting starts next week.  I’ve never voted.   

Sitting on oversize, red velvet-looking armchairs, still not getting Simon’s “in” jokes, and prolonging the decisions until I thought more than one hopeful would have a heart attack, (and it would never be those I think needed one), one by one, or two by two dueling vocals in some cases, we have the contenders.
