I think the problem with New Years Eve is that it comes once a year whether or not we want it to (another year gone by). And it reminds us of all the things we didn’t do during the last year and should then do during the coming year – who likes to be nagged!

I found this looking for people who had personally seen the Beatles at the Ed Sullivan show. I know yours was the second, but that’s still amazing! Really great and riveting– I read the whole thing, and I’m glad you shared it. I wish more people who were in those audiences wrote about the experience.
